I hate laundry.
Okay, right most people do, no secret there. But I hate laundry so much that I re-wear things as often as I can to lessen my amount of laundry.
Right, again most people (at least I think!) do this as well. However today I actually hung a shirt back in the closet that I had worn to work this morning. Now I work in an office so it's not like I am sweating or getting all that dirty. But you all have seen my daughter and know that what goes in most frequently comes out on me! Which it did this morning. The shirt that I decided was "clean" and could be hung back up in the closet had a small spit-up stain on it! My hatred for laundry has caused me to be a dirty person!! Oh well, the shirt is staying in the closet!
So, what is your dirty little secret...

Ha! That's funny! I hate laundry too. Maybe not quite as much as you though. ;-) When we lived in Los Angeles, we would pretty much do laundry once a month. We all had enough clothes and underthings, etc. to last us that long! And there were four washers and dryers so we would get it all done in about 2-3 hours! It was fabulous! When we moved, I loved having my own washer and dryer and being able to do laundry any time I wanted without worrying if someone else beat me to the washers. And it was great to not have to lug it all down to the basement of our building do it. But there really is something to be said about getting four loads of laundry done in one shot. Now its a day long process (or week long if I'm really loathing it--one load a day).
But aside from laundry, I absolutely detest with a passion doing dishes! I had to wash dishes at my house as a kid for years. And in the sink by hand! No dishwasher! My disdain for dishes started then and to this day, even with a dishwasher, I hate loading and unloading and dealing with yucky food particles. I will let them sit for three days (if there aren't too many and we don't have people coming over) waiting to see if Andrew will break down and load the dishwasher. But inevitably it usually falls on me and I cave and load on up. :-)
it's ok ab! just think of it as saving the environment!
Ha! You and Holly made me laugh. And while I hate both the laundry and the dishes. What I hate even more than that...is dusting (well cleaning in general). We used to clean the house every Saturday while I was growing up. My parents house was never dirty/dusty, etc. I dust only when people are coming over (and then it really depends who it is...people that come over all the time..eh...they can see my dust) or when Brianna starts running her hands in it. I love it when it is done...I just hate doing it. Unfortunately...that is what I'll be doing tonight. By the way...when do we get to have a "girl's weekend" where the boys stay home with the girls and we get to go have fun?
Okay, this is going to sound crazy, but...I love laundry. Sorting, washing, drying, folding, even ironing. I love it all. I'm pretty sure I could make a business out of doing people's laundry. It would be like a drop-off laundromat but with more personalized attention. To bad you're not in St. Louis, I could get that spit-up stain right out for you!
Oh, and I'm with Amber. Hate the dusting. Love how it looks when it's all clean, but hate, hate dusting.
Um...dusting? What's dusting? ;-)
And I second a girls' weekend!!!
